Eveywhere in the world has their own form of tea drink. You can be as sure of that as finding forms of alcohol everywhere. Reassuring I know! Sri Lankan has the same light black tea that we drink as Ceylon back in the UK. Although we had a delicious cup of milky, sweet, airated tea last night with our hopper dinner (rice flour cooked in a bowl shape, served with sambol sauces) I was told by Soph that it’s similar to Indian chai so I’m looking forward to that. We had two helpings. It’s time for a cuppa now.
